I am a writer and historian from San Juan, Puerto Rico. My work has appeared in the New York Times, The Guardian, Washington Post, Whetstone, The Nation, and other publications.

I have a master’s degree in international relations from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, and I work in both English and Spanish.
